Russia Vladivostok Mission (Energy Saving Solution WG)
Russia SWG dispatched a member to the mission for APEC2012 Work shop "Combined Heat & Power (CHP) Technologies for distributed energy systems" At Workshop he made a presentation of Japanese advanced CHP technologies and netwoked with REA which JASE-W conclude MOU with, and promoted the business development in Russia.

Vietnam Mission (Energy Saving Solution WG)
Vietnam SWG of Energy Saving Solution WG dispatched a mission to Hanoi, Vietnam in order to propose an ESCO scheme likely applicable in Vietnam, which had been requested by Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) in December 2011. The mission as well visited JICA and JETRO representative offices to collect its relative information.

Saudi Arabia mission
Middle East SWG of Energy Solution WG dispatched Mr. Nakashima, TLV International ,INC. as a leader of SWG to participate in a mission for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia organized by Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East. The mission visited Arriyadh Development Authority (ADA) and Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) in the capital, Riyadh and Industrial City each in Riyadh and Damman. Furthermore, bizmatch was developed at workshops held at the both cities by providing a presentation on theme of "Smart City" which had been well discussed at the SWG.

Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Improvement Seminar in the Middle East
Middle East SWG(Energy Saving Solution WG) and Solar Thermal Power SWG(Solar Power Generation WG) dispatched the delegation to the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Improvement Seminar in Kuwait and Bahrain organized and supported by Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East. They introduced the advanced Japanese Solar Thermal Technologies and Energy Saving Technologies and explained its advantageous points to the related government/private organization in those countries. Through the discussion with those organizations, they investigated the business opportunity and obtained the important information necessary for the business development. Those delegations were featured by local news papers such as; Kuwait Times and Gulf Daily News.

Latin America Geothermal SW Pre-Mission (Geothermal Generation WG)
JASE-W newly established a Latin America Geothermal SW in February, 2012, decided to focus on Guatemala, Colombia and Peru and dispatched its mission to those three countries to make a preliminary survey for developing geothermal power generation projects.

India Energy Efficiency Business Mission
In India where the Perform, Achieve and Trade (PAT) scheme was effective from March 2102, Energy Saving Business will be expected to expand. JASE-W joined the JETRO "India Energy Efficiency Business Mission" & "Energy Efficiency Summit 2012" and held hearing with FICCI(Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry), TERI(The Energy Resources Institute-India), CII(The Confederation of Indian Industry) to research the possibility of Energy Saving Business, and also visited BEE(Bureau of Energy Efficiency), and the The National Thermal Power Corporation. In Energy Efficiency Summit 2012, JASE-W have obeserved the following 4 Sessions, Compressors and Compressed Air Systems, Energy conservation in Thermal Systems, Energy conservation in Electrical Systems, Energy Efficiency in Buildings and collected information as well as Main Sessions.

Business Mission to Brazil for EE & Renewable Energy(Energy Saving Solution WG)
Latin America SWG participated in the Business Mission to Brazil for EE & S Renewable Energy, organized by JETRO, and introduced their own products & technologies, and had the business matching meetings. They also visited CEMIG, VILMA and LACTEC etc. The other 8 companies including thier local Branches, joined the mission as well as Mayekawa MFG.CO.,LTD. and Mitsubishi UFJ Lease & Finance Co.Ltd. [Belo Horizonte] They visited CEMIG(Electricity Company) to introduce members' products & technologies. Also, they had a seminar and business matching meeting with the Federation of Industries of the state of Minas Gerais(FIEMG). [Sao Paulo] They participated in the 9th. Congresso Brasileiro de Eficiencia Energetica e Expo Eficiencia(COBEE) and organized a business matching at the JETRO booth. [Curitiba] At the Federation of Industries of the state of Parana(FIEP), with attendance of President of FIEP and member of the House of Deputies, they had a seminar and business matching meeting.

As Key notes speaker, Mr.Hiep, Director General of MOIT made a speech of "Vietnam's Energy Efficiency policy and expectation of Bilateral Offset Credit Mechanism(BOCM)" and Mr. Hata of METI made a speech of "Japan's approach towards BOCM". From JASE-W's working group member MR. Moriya(Panasonic co.,Ltd.), Head of Heat pump & Inverter Working Group, introduced JASE W's activities and Japanese Smart Energy Products & Technologies, and Mr. Ueki(Sharp Corporation), deputy head of Heat pump & Inverter WG, introduced their own energy efficient products, and Ms Kim, researcher Climate Change Policy Group of the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan, one of JASE-W observers, presented a lecture about " The role in Japan assisting policy development to establish energy efficient standard and labeling." This event was introduced on the headline of the evening TV news program and appeared in the newspapers in Vietnam. In this Workshop through active questionnaires and answers we could appeal the superiority of the energy efficiencies, technologies and products affiliated Inverter to Vietnam
